The Ganemos Caudete Assembly has organized a talk on gender-based violence to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women (November 25). The talk will take place on Friday, November 27, at 8:00 pm at the Ganemos Caudete headquarters, located at 28 Corona de Aragón Street.
The speaker at the conference will be Alba Laserna Bravo, a social worker from Villena specializing in Gender Studies and Equality Policies. Through her talk, «GENDER VIOLENCE: A look at the current social context,» she will guide us through a journey of gender violence, exploring how we experience it, how it affects us, its causes, consequences, scenarios, and discourses; as well as how feminisms respond to this type of violence.
